As president of the Florence Network I would like to welcome you to this website!
Florence Network was established 1995 to promote Nursing and Midwifery in Europe. The Network consists of 37 universities/schools of higher education, in 18 European countries.
Our main goals are to:
- -Make Nursing and Midwifery MORE VISIBLE in Europe
- -Exchange students and teachers
- -Compare curricula and improve quality of Nursing and Midwifery education
- -Co-operate in research in the Nursing and Midwifery work fields
- -Develop European projects and Intensive Programs
- -Participate in realisation of the Bologna agreements in Europe
- -Get accreditation for Nursing and Midwifery education in Europe.
In order to know more about the Florence Network’s organization please have a look at the Partner pages.
I’m convinced that one great benefit, by internationalize higher education, is to facilitate for students and teachers to think international and to keep a global perspective in humans and therefore makes the world better!
Warm greetings from Anna Carlsson, President of the Florence Network! |
